    "My patients kept telling me that they wanted to look younger, but they didn't want to deal with the cost, time, or risk of a traditional facelift.   • Just what is the South Beach Facelift™?


    "The South Beach Facelift™ lets people look younger in about an hour with a fraction of the recovery time, risk and cost of a traditional facelift. There is no general anesthesia, no hospital stay, and because it's limited, the risk of complications is much lower than with a traditional facelift."
  • What are the possible complications?

    "As with any surgical procedure, there are risks and results may vary. To see if this is right for you, please arrange a free consultation."
  • Will people notice I had a facelift?


    "People will notice that something about you looks different and better. They may think you look well rested. People often ask my female patients if they've done something different with their makeup. People will notice that you look younger, sharper and more alert, but they probably won't be able to put their finger on what's different. You can tell them - or not!"
  • How is this different from a traditional facelift?


    "With a traditional facelift, you go to the hospital operating room, are put to sleep with general anesthesia, and may have several weeks of recovery time. With the South Beach Facelift™, you come to a surgery center and only require local anesthesia. After the procedure -- which takes about 90 minutes -- you can get up and walk out under your own power. You'll have a simple bandage on your neck and face. You come back to our office the next day so I can check your progress and change the dressing. If you have procedure done on a Thursday, you can usually go back to work on Monday."
  • What if I also have sagging eyelids or eyebrows?

    "A good thing about the South Beach Facelift™ is that we can usually take care of the jaw line area PLUS one additional area - without general anesthesia, a hospital stay or a long recovery. The other procedure can either be making the brow line sharper or making the upper eyelids more defined."
